Curriculum

Career Development
Based on the characteristics of Taiwan's industrial development trend and job market demands, the department designs the following three specialty course modules:

    i. System and Network Management.
    ii. Implementation of business web site and management information systems design and development.
    iii. Internet marketing and data analysis.
Post graduation students will be capable of performing the following professional career duties: web page design, website and multimedia developers, app developers, Information systems developers, network management engineers, network security professionals, internet marketing staff, marketing planners, big data analysts, service engineers and many others.
Graduation Threshold
We offer a four-year program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Information Management. To acquire the degree, students must complete a minimum of 128 credits of coursework, of which 30 credits are from Common Compulsory Courses, 10 credits are from Colledge of Computer Science, 42 credits are from Department Compulsory Courses, and 46 credits are from Elective Courses.

i. System and network management : introduction to networking, Windows server management, Linux systems management, International certificate for Linux systems management, International certificate for networking, cloud service, cloud application technologies, information security, enterprise information security practice,
ii. Implementation of business web site and management information systems design and development : object-oriented programming, HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language), app development, cross-mobile device web page design, mobile web page practical applications, data structure, software testing, mobile device programming, Windows application programming, software testing practice, certificate for mobile device programming, software engineering, open source code evaluation.
iii. Internet marketing and data analysis : statistical software applications, basic data analysis, big data analysis, statistics and market survey, counting method applications, electronic commerce and internet marketing, big data applications, network operational analysis, network auction practice, data mining.
